IGM at The Ledges Hosts EWGA Chapter Championship Events

The Greater Springfield Chapter of the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association) held its chapter championship on Saturday, July, 17th at The Ledges Golf Club in South Hadley. The winners are advancing to the semi-finals for the EWGA Championship, considered the largest amateur women’s golf competition in the United States.

Members compete in individual stoke play in five flights based on USGA handicaps and a scramble team competition. Low gross and low net winners in each flight and the winning scramble team then compete in one of 15 semi-final competitions held throughout the United States.

Winners advance to the 36-hole championship finals at Geneva National Resort and Golf Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin on October 1 and 2, 2010.
